In August 2026, Plushie participated in the annual Boone Avenue Walls mural festival held in the Boogie Bronx for a second year in a row. This year she went with the theme healing through love. One of the best loves in this world is when friends show up and check in on you when you are down. This little mermaid friend is sad and crying. Without her realizing, all her little swimming friends are bringing her love and compassion via magical bubbles containing love to lift up her spirits. When she lifts up her head, she’ll no longer be in the dark but surrounded by color and light brought on by those that care about her most.
