In so many ways society tries to condition young girls and womxn to be submissive when we’re subjected to so many wrong doings. And for far too long we have been taught to package ourselves into something digestible and we never will be. Despite the limitations placed on us, we will always find ways to resist and become the leaders we want to see. To protect not just ourselves but the ones we love. Womxn today couldn’t be the people they are today nor able to carve out their life paths if it weren’t for the womxn that fought, bled, screamed and ran before them. The systems of the world we live in still has a lot wrong with it. And like them, we mustn’t stop finding ways to resist that.
