In Spring of 2026, NASA sent it’s first crewed flight to the moon in a mission that hasn’t been done since Apollo 17 in 1972. Breaking record in human history of being the first crew to travel the furthest, looping around the far side of the moon and back down to earth. The Artemis 2 crew really went above and beyond to bring some light, education and hope to the people here back down on earth during their mission, all the while doing hard-work up in space. Fascinated and hung up on how cool science and outer space really is, this mural celebrates this major human accomplishment. And highlights the beauty captured of the moon via sourced photos from NASA’s website and the playfulness of water is in space according to the Artemis 2 crew. All through the lens of this fuzzy friendly astronaut!
